“BASEMENT”

Basement
The Lobotomy Party

After a year of planning, and memorable performances including Boggs Social Supply, Star Bar and The Earl, The Lobotomy Party is releasing its debut single: “Basement”.

“Basement” is a portrait of desperation and dread. Its frantic pulse is the pounding heart of a prisoner dying to break out. Guitars jangle and crush. Vocalist Alan Poole sings with the shaking rage of a kidnapping victim.

“Basement” was recorded by Kris Sampson at Sampson Sounds, mixed by Dan Dixon (Dropsonic, PLS PLS), and mastered by Kyle Spence. Cover art by Jeremy Adams (Gnomonaut).

The Lobotomy Party is dedicated to shining a harsh light on the madness of modernity. This song represents the cycle of violence pervasive in American culture.
